Computer Lab Evaluation

Evaluation of Computer Lab

This year in the Computer Lab, we’ve learned and done a lot of projects, such as a movie. These projects have really taught me about computers, and has really helped me learn more about them.

One of the projects that I’ve enjoyed the most is making the iMovie project. This was one of my favorite projects because it really got me interested in iMovie, and also, it’s my favorite project because it really got me used to all of the controls in the program.

The thing we did that I hated the most was “Type to Learn Three.” The reason I hate this the most is that I was never a natural typer, and I can never memorize the keyboard. Even though I hated this, over my time at P.S. 6 it’s really taught me too be amazing at typing.

At my time at the Computer Lab, I’ve learned a lot of skills. For example, we’ve learned how to post blogs on Blogger, which is useful right now because someone is probably reading it on a blog page. The skills have really helped me because when I came into P.S. 6 in first grade, I didn’t know anything about computers or how to use them, but now I know more about computers than my parents!

In the Computer Lab, I’ve encountered very few difficulties, but now, I really don’t have any. The reason I don’t have that much, is that in the Computer Lab I’ve learned how to handle projects that I don’t have that much knowledge on.

Now I’m going to talk about what we use the most in the Computer Lab: Microsoft Word. Microsoft Word or “Word” for short is a very great place to type essays such as this one. The reason it’s so good is that you can do all kinds of things to make your essay better. For example, you can change your font size from size 8 to size 72. Also, another great example is that you can change your font to a different color in a huge variety of colors. I really love Microsoft Word.

In the Computer Lab, I don’t think that we should take anything away or add something, the computer Lab is just right. If I hadn’t ever been in here with my great Computer’s teacher Mr. Hackbarth, I probably would know nothing about computers.
